For years, if not decades, the Dallas Cowboys hid on the screen bypassing agents and dealing directly with players. At least one player has managed to resist the charms of his owner Jerry Jones.

As explained by long time NFL journalist Jason Cole, and confirmed by Dez Bryant, Jones brought Dez into a sequel at the team stage to discuss the player's contract. Dez said that he did not want to do that. Jones persisted.

"Mr. Jones, what would happen if you tried to cover me on this ground," said Bryant, gesturing toward the playing area below.

"Well, Dez, you'd kill me," Jones said.

"Well, Mr. Jones, then why would I want to negotiate a contract against you?" Said Dez.

All players do not resist. otherwise, Jones would not continue to try to do it. And although it has been doing so for years without control or consequence, the NFL Players' Association is currently studying the situation.
