Diamondbacks sets new home track record against Phillies

The Arizona Diamondbacks sparked a storm of offensive power in Philadelphia on Monday night.

With eight homers at home, the team set a new franchise record of a game against the Phillies.

The best part?

Originally, the team broke the six-run record in just five innings, with seven of the top ten hits scored by crazy.

From the beginning, the D-backs were about to go deep into the evening.

Jarrod Dyson, Ketel Marte and David Peralta, the first three batters of the formation, have succeeded for the second time in the history of the franchise.

This barrage in the first heat was a sign that things would be fine as the bats returned to the fourth quarter.

After the Phillies drew 3-3, the third base player, Eduardo Escobar, re-entered and connected, sending a powerful shot twice in the right field.

The mark of the fourth was not there, however, Alex Avila further increasing the back two more batters later, bringing Christian Walker on another two-run lunar shot.

Escobar continued to impact the D-backs in the fifth inning.

Taking advantage of the Phillies' success, Ranger Suarez, Escobar scored his second match of the night, with a length of 421 feet.

With his second run for the fences, Escobar became the first D-back to come back from different sides of the board in consecutive heats. He now has six home multi-career circuits.

But even before the Phillies fans can recover the ball, another ball was sent into the stands.

Ildemaro Vargas helped put the team in the D-backs history books on Arizona's seventh circuit.

Vargas kept the juice running high on the ninth inning.

The second-baseman made the first pitch he saw, sending a laser 409 feet to the left for his second game of the match. By entering the game Monday night, Vargas had only two homers this season.

With the blast in the ninth inning, the D-backs became the first team in MLB history to register eight home homers in a match after allocating eight home homers in the same season (March 28 against the Los Angeles Dodgers).
