Disney builds a new roller coaster on the Frozen theme

At the wave of Disney announcements, D23 participants had a first look at Frozen additions coming to Disneyland Hong Kong, including a Frozen-themed roller coaster.

Disney's President of Disney Parks, Experiments and Products, Bob Chapek, revealed the concept-art of Wandering Oaken's sled sleds. From the infamous shop in Oaken, guests will board sledges leading to the top of a hill near Sven and Olaf. The sleds will then be sent on a winding journey through Arendelle.

The Wakenning Oaken sliding sled will be the main attraction of a Frozen theme land that lands at Disneyland Hong Kong and will plunge all its guests into the mystical northern kingdom of Queen Elsa. And visitors to the country will join Elsa to create an unforgettable day "winter in summer". It has also been reported that Frozen Ever After – the beloved attraction of EPOCT – would be added to this territory.

This country promises to be the chance for Frozen fans around the world to immerse themselves in the world of their favorite Disney movie like never before. They will be exposed to landscapes, sounds, traditions and cuisines.

The news from this country follows on from other Frozen announcements earlier in the weekend. D23 guests had a glimpse of the upcoming "Frozen 2", which reveals new characters and new clues about the next adventure awaiting Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf. Participants were also able to attend live song performances. And it is safe to say that the hype continues to grow as we prepare to return to Arendelle both in the theaters and in the parks.
