LOCK HAVEN – Those who haven’t had a chance to dine on Main Street this summer will only have two more chances.

Changes were made to the pedestrian mall’s schedule, leaving only two more street closures, on August 27, 28 and September 10 and 11.

“As the summer unfortunately draws to a close, we have had a few small changes regarding the pedestrian mall and the market village on Main. There are only 2 Saturdays left for the market and only two weekends that the main street will be closed ”, Downtown Lock Haven Inc. director Kira Rosamilia said.

The pedestrian mall was initially scheduled to run until the end of September, but changes have been made, Rosamilia said.

The pedestrian mall’s shutdown for the summer will also mark the end of the Village Market on Main Street, which takes place during Main Street East parking closures. With the help of the municipal government, DLH was able to launch the bi-weekly market. Since the start of the summer, several local vendors such as Pole Cat Hollow Farms, It Is What It Is, Simone’s Bakery, Clinton County United Way and many more have participated in the weekend market.

The Market Village on Main will be open on the same Saturdays as the Pedestrian Mall from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
