A London doctor said he was “disgusted” after protesters gathered outside a hospital on New Years Eve, chanting “Covid is a hoax.” The video went viral, sparking a wave of support.
Matthew Lee, a young doctor at St. Thomas Hospital in London, said he had been confronted with “Hundreds of drunk people without masks in huge groups” in the wee hours of Friday morning, with some calling the coronavirus a “hoax” – “Literally outside the building where hundreds of people are sick and dying.”
Why do people still not realize the severity of this pandemic? … I am disgusted but above all sorry. I wish people could see the amount of Covid-19 and the death in hospitals, and the sacrifices healthcare workers make.
Lee shared a video he filmed as he left the hospital, showing a crowd in heated discussion with the sound of drums beating in the background. “I really wish people were protecting themselves,” the doctor said, adding: “Their ignorance hurts others.”
I worked the last A&E SHO shift on NYE and got out of it. Hundreds of drunk and unmasked people in huge groups shouting “Covid is a hoax”, literally outside the building where hundreds are sick and dying. Why do people still not realize the severity of this pandemic? pic.twitter.com/KTkCtNf62A

The rally was part of a larger anti-lockdown protest organized by Piers Corbyn, the older brother of former Labor leader Jeremy Corbyn, who led the crowd in chants, even engaging at one point in a spitting spectacle fire for spectators. Ahead of the protest, Corbyn revealed he would run in the London mayoral race, and was later seen in footage confronting a line of police stationed near the hospital. He was fined £ 200 ($ 273) for violating the region’s coronavirus restrictions, according to the Daily Mail.

Lee’s post was met with an avalanche of support, as many expressed outrage over the “selfish” crowd, with some demanding draconian penalties for breaches of UK coronavirus restrictions, and even denial of healthcare for those who question the severity of the pandemic.
“I really don’t understand why they weren’t moved or arrested[,] they violate the Covid-19 regulations, causing an obstruction ”, a commentator said, request “Why were they allowed to assemble / stay?”
Withdraw their right to access the NHS. They can become private. Selfish.

The police should round them up, take them around the barriers. Ask them to sign a waiver denying NHS assistance if the Covid captures, then fines the bastards.

Where were the police? Why weren’t they arrested? The curfew here in France would have seen each of them inflict on the spot a 135 € fine for the 1st offense and sent home, 3rd offense SIX MONTHS of immediate prison + € 4000 fine.

Despite Lee’s heartfelt appeal, however, some netizens remained skeptical in his post, questioning the danger of the virus, as well as government policies aimed at stemming its spread.
“It’s not a hoax, but no one is telling the truth about it. This is why people behave this way ”, an user said. “Why is no one allowed to ask the questions relevant to this pandemic?” Why are the numbers clumped together or impossible to grasp and why is there no risk context? “
Why can’t we see it? Why can’t people film in hospitals? Why do doctors have to sign NDAs? If it’s so terribly serious, why all the secrecy? Go out with it. Aren’t we all adults and therefore can we be trusted to see these things !?

WHY? Because they dare to question the narrative? The test is 99% inaccurate. The “vaccine” does not stop the spread. It has not yet been scientifically proven that Covid exists and most scientists suggest it is just smoke. The question needs an answer.

The Spanish lockdown was particularly strict. In Spain, masks must be worn indoors and outdoors. Despite this, Spanish cases skyrocketed throughout October. Mandatory social distancing and wearing a mask does not work. British restrictions on coronaviruses will come to naught.

The doctor’s viral tweet circulated hours before British health officials on Friday reported 53,285 new coronavirus infections and 613 deaths, added to nearly 56,000 cases the day before. The country saw a rapid increase in the number of new cases in December, with daily infections increasing by tens of thousands, with the total number of deaths exceeding 70,000. Meanwhile, a new, more infectious strain of the virus has also spread to across the UK and beyond since it was first detected in September, sparking panic among global health agencies and bans on UK travelers in dozens of countries, as well as tightened restrictions in parts of the UK .
