11. Too much red meat
A little red meat is good for you, but you do not want to eat too much. Studies have shown a correlation between populations who consume a diet rich in red meat and an increased number of Alzheimer's cases. One theory is that red meat contains iron, which, in moderation, is good for us. But too much iron can promote what researchers call oxidative damage. This can lead to cell damage and brain damage.
