Dog keepers across the state are attacking dog owners.
They extend to 22 counties by June, to ensure that owners have current licenses and vaccines against rabies.
This includes the counties of Allegheny, Mercer and Westmoreland.
The current law stipulates that all dogs aged 3 months or more must be approved by January 1st of each year.
Offenders could be fined up to $ 300 plus legal costs.
