‘Doom Eternal’ is coming to Nintendo Switch on December 8

We weren’t necessarily expecting the beloved first-person shooter of 2016 Condemn to appear on the Nintendo Switch, but it turns out that id Software and Panic Button knew what they were doing. The whole experience worked out well, no small feat considering that Condemn was designed with the PS4 and Xbox One in mind. And now we have some great news for Switch fans who have been waiting to donate Eternal doom one shot: Nintendo announced this morning that the Condemn the rest would pass on December 8, in a little over a week.

id Software made it clear last year that Eternal doom would come to the Switch after hitting the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but we had no idea when, so it’s a new surprise for anyone looking for a new Switch title this winter. We haven’t played the Switch port yet, but considering the port’s success in 2016 Condemn was, it’s probably worth checking out if you enjoyed the previous game. It may not seem as detailed as the Xbox One or PS4 versions, but the main experience should be intact, and that’s certainly a good thing.
