Douglas County 833 new cases, 6 deaths

(WOWT) – Here is a summary of the new cases and other statistics of COVID-19 reported today by health officials in Nebraska and Iowa.

The Douglas County Health Department reported 833 new positive cases of COVID-19 and six deaths on Saturday.

The new community total is 43,233 positive cases.

Those who died include four women: a teenage girl, a woman in her sixties and two women over 80 and two men over 75.

The death toll in Douglas County is now 360.

According to their most recent report, medical and surgical beds were at 78% occupancy, with 332 beds available.

A total of 21,496 residents have recovered.
