(WOWT) – Here is a summary of the new cases and other statistics of COVID-19 reported today by health officials in Nebraska and Iowa.
The Douglas County Department of Health on Sunday reported 471 new positive cases of COVID-19 and three deaths.
The new community total is 39,568 positive cases.
The deceased was described as a man in his fifties and two women in their sixties.
The death toll in Douglas County now stands at 323.
According to their most recent report, medical and surgical beds were 70% occupied, with 433 beds available.
The beds in the intensive care unit are 77% occupied with 78 beds available. There are 404 people hospitalized for COVID-19, of whom 108 are receiving treatment in intensive care.
A total of 20,316 residents have recovered.
