“I had the same worries as all health care providers, including one, am I going to get infected myself? But more importantly, will I infect my family? Tiffany Osborn said.
Doctor BJC Tiffany Osborn took an extreme step to protect her family from the coronavirus, she bought a camper van to live to keep herself isolated.
Osborn is an emergency and intensive care doctor who has lived inside his RV for a year. She said it was a decision she and her family made to prevent the disease from entering their home.
Osborn said she would work three weeks in a row without days off so she could self-isolate for a few days, get tested and see her family for just a few days before returning to the hospital.
Now, after a whole year, she is finally fully reunited with her family. “The transition took a little while, but once we got back it was fantastic,” Osborn said. “I mean, it’s been great to have the opportunity to really live together again in a cohesive way.”
Osborne said reuniting with his family would not have been possible without the COVID-19 vaccine. She said the only way for us to get back to normal – is to get the vaccine.
