A driver was killed Sunday October 3, 2021 on Trappers Loop Highway.

HUNTSVILLE – A driver was killed Sunday afternoon when a truck crashed into Trappers Loop Highway, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

The Dodge pickup truck, towing a trailer, was heading south on the freeway when the truck swerved to the right side of the road and the driver attempted to turn around on the roadway, the UHP said in a report. Press release. The truck and trailer overturned, the pickup landing on the roof.

The driver died after the crash and no passengers were injured, the UHP said.

The accident happened at 12:37 p.m. at kilometer 6, just south of Snow Basin Road between Huntsville and Mountain Green, according to the Utah Department of Transportation. The road was closed for accident clean-up and investigation until approximately 5:20 p.m.
