ESCANABA – Public Health, Delta and Menominee counties will be holding their annual community drive-thru influenza immunization clinic on Saturday, September 25. The clinic will be held in the Public Health parking lot at 2920 College Ave., Escanaba, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The cost of the influenza vaccine is $ 30, or $ 50 for the high dose influenza vaccine approved for use in people 65 years of age and older. Medicare, Medicaid, Healthy Michigan, and most private insurance can be billed.
Public Health continues to recognize the need to offer a drive-thru service to those who have difficulty walking. Limited mobility is not a requirement to attend the clinic behind the wheel, and all are welcome. No appointment is necessary, and individuals are requested to arrive during the period designated by the first letter of their last name:
AD – 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
EK – 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
QL – 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
RZ – 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Anyone unable to come to the clinic according to the schedule can come any time between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Due to COVID-19, please wear a face mask if medically capable.
For the safety of Public Health personnel, participants are requested to leave their pets at home.
