Dua Lipa layered a bold piece over a daring piece for her latest vacation ensemble.
The “Levitating” singer gave a preview of her tropical excursion on Instagram today, posing alongside a friend in a daring combination of outfits. Taking advantage of the warm weather, Dua Lipa opted for a tie-front boyfriend shirt to match a disco ball-style skirt that resembles the designs of Paco Rabanne; the brand’s similar skirts feature metallic sequins tied to a chain, retailing for $ 1,680 on Farfetch.com.
As if her outfit wasn’t stunning enough already, the British singer used the shoes of her choice to add a pop of color to the ensemble. Wrapping around her ankle and calf was a signature silhouette of The Attico known as Venus heels; the design is laid on a pointed toe silhouette with a slingback outfit and a satin finish. The “Don’t Start Now” singer is actually a longtime fan of the Italian brand’s figure. In October 2019, she sported a trendy neon pink version of Venus heels as she stepped out in London in a daring outfit to match; the pink suspenders fastened to the hem of his metallic silver pants worn under a white t-shirt and a fluffy neon jacket.
Beyond a Grammy-winning musical career (and six impressive new nominations for the upcoming 2021 Grammy Awards), Dua Lipa quite often plunges her toes into the fashion world. From sitting in rows at big catwalks during fashion month to picking out daring duds for red carpet appearances, she keeps things regularly exciting. Most recently, Dua Lipa signed as a Puma Ambassador with a multi-year contract as she is the face of his female company. Through her new title, the musician will aim to “help inspire women around the world” through global efforts and “important inclusive initiatives close to her heart,” according to the company.
