Dungeons & Dragons will announce their first 2022 product this week. Amazon has released a new listing for the “Dungeons & Dragons March 2022 Title,” with a description stating that the full title will be announced on October 12. “Tune in on October 12 to find out what adventures await you,” reads the description of the untitled book. The book’s release date is March 15, 2022, but the Amazon listing has not revealed any other relevant details about the product.

Last month, Chris Perkins unveiled some details on Dungeons & Dragons’ upcoming product, stating that the upcoming book “is entering a new place we’ve never been to before.” Perkins also provided a brief description of the book’s setting, noting that it was a “wonderful and scary” place. “The players are going to be absolutely terrified when they step into this frame,” Perkins also teased.

It is possible that the untitled Dungeons & Dragons book could be linked to an Unearthed Arcana game test released on Friday. This playtest contained new rules for six new playable races, four of which were related to the Spelljammer campaign framework. The title of this discovered arcane was “Travelers of the Multiverse”, which is curious in the sense that Wizards of the Coast also plans to publish a rulebook titled Mordenkainen presents: Monsters of the Multiverse. While Monsters of the Multiverse is technically a new book, it brings together playable races from other previously published books as well as updated stat blocks for various monsters in the D&D multiverse. Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse will first be released in January as part of a D&D Rules Expansion Gift Set and will then be released individually at a later date.

Wizards of the Coast still plans to release two more D&D books in 2021. The first, Treasure of the dragons of Fizban, is a collection of dragon lore, dragon stat blocks, and dragon-related magic items and spells. The other book is Strixhaven: A Chaos Program and is a campaign setting detailing the Magical College of Strixhaven, which was first introduced in Magic: The Gathering. Fizban’s Dragon Treasure will be released on October 26, while Strixhaven: A Chaos Program will be released on December 7th.
