KUNSAN AIR BASE, Republic of Korea – On any normal day at Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, the sound and sight of Wolf Pack F-16 Fighting Falcons can be seen and heard in the sky.
However, for the very first time, on September 9, 2021, the black, gold and white T-50 aircraft of the ROK Air Force Black Eagles performed technical aerobatic maneuvers in the Kunsan airspace.

The team consists of nine pilots, 30 maintenance crew members and six assistant crew members. Each of them plays a vital role in the success of every air show.

Hearing and seeing the Black Eagles above their heads is a unique experience in itself, but seeing them fly over Kunsan for the first time symbolizes the continued dedication of the United States and the Republic of Korea to strengthening their relationship. .
