Dwayne Johnson responded to Vin Diesel’s comments, saying he would not be revisiting the remaining installments of the “Fast & Furious” franchise.

While promoting “Fast 9,” Diesel addressed the issue between Johnson and himself in an interview for Men’s Health and said, “I could give a lot of hard love.”

“Not Felliniesque, but I would do whatever I need to do to get performance in whatever I produce,” Diesel added.

Asked directly about Diesel’s comments in a new interview with the Hollywood Reporter posted Wednesday, Johnson replied, “I laughed and laughed a lot. I think everyone laughed at that. And I will stop there. And that I wished them good luck.

“I wish them the best of luck on ‘Fast 9’. And I wish them the best of luck with Fast 10 and Fast 11 and the rest of the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies they make without me,” Johnson added.

In 2016, during the production of “The Fate of the Furious,” Johnson expressed his frustrations with male co-stars he did not identify. “Some behave like standing men and real professionals, while others don’t,” he wrote on Instagram. “Those who aren’t are too chickens to do anything about it anyway. Ass sweets. When you watch this movie next April and it looks like I’m not acting in some of these scenes and my blood is legitimately boiling, you’re right.

TMZ reported at the time that Diesel was the co-star Johnson was calling as the former WWE wrestler was unhappy with Diesel’s production decisions. He also cited anonymous “production sources” who said Johnson and other crew members were upset that Diesel regularly showed up late to shoot scenes, spending time in his trailer instead. TMZ sources also said Diesel was arrogant and criticized his co-stars for playing.
