At the EA Play event at E3 2019, the Apex Legends team said that a certain weapon bearing the name of an African country would see improvements. This is of course the rifle in Mozambique, a weapon that has been the subject of many jokes and memes since the free royal battle game that was launched earlier this year.
Mozambique is widely regarded as a bad or even useless weapon in Apex Legends, especially with regard to shotguns. The team did not explain in detail the improvements it could see, but we can expect to know when season 2 will be launched on July 2nd. specific enhancements or features; it is unclear whether improvements in Mozambique would be made by leapfrog or other means.
Respawn has already made it known that he knew that Mozambique was a weak weapon, but he wanted to have a wide range of choices between the best and the worst guns. Presumably, he'll still be one of the weakest weapons in the arsenal of Apex players, but that could be less of a joke.
The Apex Legends segment during EA Play also gave more details on Season 2's Battle Pass and revealed the tenth legend, Wattson. A new pistol was also revealed, a classic Titanfall 2: the L-Star. This seems to be the antithesis of Mozambique, as you will not find it simply in the world; it is so powerful that you will not be able to search for additional ammunition either.
