E3 Nintendo Direct: Wild Breath Suite, Banjo-Kazooie, Animal Crossing, Link's Awakening, etc.

[ad_1]

That's all! The Nintendo E3 Live is over, and it's actually pretty good. Especially in the end! Despite not new Metroid Prime 4 pictures, no new Bayonetta. The long-running update of Nintendo Switch, which was the subject of long rumors, was nowhere else.

But the new Zelda! A new suite of Breath of the Wild is in development.

So what did we have? We have Banjo-Kazooie in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, more images of upcoming games like Luigi's Mansion 3 and Link's Awakening. And also a bunch of existing games like The Witcher 3 and Alien Isolation arriving on Nintendo Switch. Oh and Crossing of animals get a name and a release date!

Let's break it down.

Oh Lord! We have absolutely not seen this one coming. Nintendo makes a new game Zelda – but it seems to be a direct sequel to Breath of the Wild (probably the biggest game ever created). I am extremely excited.

The fact that Nintendo has announced a new Zelda suggests very quickly that it could be a continuation of Majora's mask style in the same universe. To be clear: This is not downloadable content, it's a whole new sequel.

Also, Link rode a gigantic elephant / rhino animal.

Very exciting.

Nintendo had previously announced that Animal Crossing would be available this year, in 2019. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case.

Today, Nintendo announced that Animal Crossing: New Horizons would be marketed on March 20, 2020.

Not a massive delay, but nevertheless significant. The game has been delayed for the game to reach the quality levels required by Nintendo.

We had an additional preview of the game today on E3 Nintendo Direct from Nintendo and it seems that the game is about to reach this level of quality. In the new images released today, we could see the game in all its splendor: fishing, gardening, crafts.

It was a long time ago, but eventually it happened: Banjo-Kazooie comes to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch, as revealed by Nintendo's E3 Nintendo Direct

It's been a long time of these character additions that make sense, but there has always been an impediment: since Rare, the company that originally created the games, belongs to Microsoft, Nintendo does not. was not allowed to reproduce the character on a game only designed for. Nintendo consoles.

But they are not alone. Along with the western release of Dragon Quest XI, Nintendo also features characters from this game at Smash.

Banjo-Kazooie arrives at Smash in the fall of 2019.

Nintendo

Luigi's Mansion is unobtrusive, one of Nintendo's most underrated franchises. We had a fresh look at Luigi's Mansion 3, the latest addition to the series, and it looks fantastic.

In addition to the usual gameplay we expected, Luigi's Mansion 3 has found new ways for Luigi to interact with the world: a cool new trick that allows you to extract elements from the camera. game environment and – perhaps more importantly – GOOIGI! A green and ghostly version of Luigi that allows you to solve puzzles in the game world.

After Nintendo Direct, I had the chance to play a bunch of Luigi's Mansion 3. It's tactile, beautiful and just fun. I can not wait for this one.

Nintendo also revealed a four-player cooperative mode.

The game's release is scheduled for late 2019.

More heroes 3

Travis Touchdown fans have been rewarded with a new No More Heroes game for Nintendo Switch. It is under development by Grasshopper and, although we did not have a preview of the gameplay, the result was rather beautiful!

Link's Awakening

Link's Awakening seems incredible. Absolutely amazing.

Like someone who played and loved the original Link's Awakening on the original Nintendo Game Boy gameit looks like a faithful rewrite at every possible level. It retains the charm of the original, but the new artistic style seeks to turn it into something truly special in itself.

Perhaps the most worthy part: Link's Awakening has some sort of new "dungeon creator" that seems to allow players to design their own dungeons seamlessly. Looks like it could provide a lot of replay value to those who quickly go through the main quest.

Post Nintendo Direct I spent enough time with Link's Awakening. He looks glorious, feels super-familiar, but is evolved enough to feel like a whole new game in the best possible way.

Many old games are coming to Switch

Since the console is portable, it's still important that Nintendo bring classics to the Nintendo switch. At Nintendo Direct, it was announced that The Witcher 3 and Alien Isolation were on the way.

Personally, I'm looking forward to playing The Witcher 3 on the bus and Alien Isolation is completely snuggled in bed.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3

Finally a Marvel game that looks decent? I'm kidding I'm kidding!

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is a much more stylized Marvel game. It is also a much better known quantity since it is the third in a series that goes back literally to years. We know somehow what to expect with this one: a multiplayer style game, top down beat em up. Could be worse!

  • PC Gaming Show – This annual computer gaming show takes place in a theater just steps from the Los Angeles Convention Center, but still attracts a large crowd of 1,700 people, the Mayan Theater, in downtown Los Angeles . Inside, the usual suspects, from Halo to Doom, could not be found. Instead, the crowd cheered for PC-centric games, including Zombie Army 4, Baldur's Gate 3 and Terraria: Journey's End.
