BLACKFOOT, Idaho (KIFI) – The Blackfoot Exhibition Center hosts the Eastern Idaho State Fair from Friday until Saturday, September 11.
This fair should be even more special since the pandemic canceled the fair which was scheduled for 2020.
The fair team had two years of preparation to hope for this moment.
Vendors spent all Thursday jostling each other to set up their trailers, food trucks and stands. They must be ready before the opening of the first day of the fair at 10 am Friday. For the next nine days each, the show will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
For the huge grandstand performances, Sheryl Crow will perform on Friday, Jeff Dunham will perform on Thursday, September 9, and Third Eye Blind will perform on Friday, September 10.
The Eastern Idaho Fair recommends but does not require masks for anyone entering the fairgrounds.
A new innovation this year for the show is online ticketing. These tickets can be found here for general admission and all grandstand performances. Tickets cost $ 7 for adults and $ 5 for children to enter the fair.
