The Mexican Alfonso Cuarón won today the Best Director Award ("Rome") In the 76th edition of Balls of Gold.
His opponents were Bradley Cooper ("A Star is Born"), Peter Farrelly ("Green Book"), Spike Lee ("BlacKkKlansman") and Adam McKay ("Vice").
However, that was not all, the Mexican universal also grabbed the prize for "Best Director" and "Rome".
Cuarón thanked his success for the laboratory that trained him.
