Chinese oil imports fall in June

China's crude oil imports fell in June from the previous month, with some independent refineries shutting down and some activities down at low margins, according to data released on Friday.

34.52 million tonnes compared to 8.4 million barrels a day, according to Reuters calculations based on data from the General Administration of Customs.

This corresponds to 9.2 million barrels a day in May and 8.8 million barrels a day in June last year. Year will remain high at 5.8% over one year to 225 million tons.
