The National Oil Corporation stated that it had dismantled and closed the 186-B 115-IR stations, reducing the production level to 125,000 barrels per day, which would be sufficient to meet the needs of the Zawya refinery, without allowing Surplus export.
The chairman of the board, Mustapha Sinallah, said that employee safety remains a top priority, confirming that after this incident, decisions were made to evacuate and evacuate workers from several production centers. "We need to prioritize domestic fuel demand right now and therefore the available production on the spark field will be diverted to the Zawia refinery," he concluded.
