Elon Musk drops the new vision of SpaceX Starship on the moon

SpaceX likes to tease our imagination by posting images of its future spaceships doing extraordinary things, like relaxing on Mars or waving around the moon.

Founder Elon Musk gave us more joy on Monday by tweeting a rendering of the stainless steel spacecraft parked on the moon.

The image shows Starship with a lunar hill rising behind her and the Earth shining in the dark. Musk answered a question asking if Starship will be able to land safely in an area that is not perfectly flat, like the surface of the moon. He says it's okay.

SpaceX is currently considering uploading Starship with artists and send him on a journey around the moon in 2023, but it is not expected that this mission will actually land on the lunar surface. The spaceship is still in its infancy. A prototype "hopper" took its first small tests At the beginning of April.

Musk also tweeted an updated rendition of the brilliant version of Starship near a human settlement on Mars. Starship's previous visions showed a design that looked more like a modernized space shuttle.

SpaceX has long sought to bring humans to the red planet someday. Hoping that a possible city of Mars would look as cool.

The images of Mars and the moon have numbers in the corner, with a "1" for Mars and a "4" for the moon. Perhaps they are part of a presentation, which leads us to wonder what happened to numbers 2 and 3.

These pretty pictures are a long way from reality, but they give space fans something to dream about when it comes to hoping for a future out of the world for humankind.
