BOSTON – The two managers and Andrew Benintendi, the Red Sox fighter, were expelled from Texas' 9-5 win over Boston on Tuesday night.
Alex Cora, coach of Benintendi and Red Sox, was started in the fifth inning by first baseman Vic Carapazza and Texas coach Chris Woodward was kicked by plate referee Angel Hernandez, at the sixth.
Although banned by Carapazza, Benintendi was angry with Hernandez. He returned and shouted at the marble after being stranded, and it was at that time that Carapazza threw him away.
