Future's production since his arrival has been compared to a few. Last year he produced the Superfly redo the soundtrack and then dropped a surprise mixtape, Beast Mode II, a month later. In January, he published an official album titled The WIZRDarrived just two months after working with Juice WRLD, WRLD on drugs. More recently, he appeared on DJ Khaled's "Top Off" with Beyoncé and Jay-Z. Now he abandons another project, an EP called Save me.
The Atlanta rapper began hinting that something was coming up two weeks ago, deleting all of his messages on Instagram and sharing encrypted bits with visuals. If the illustration of the seven-track EP is an indication, Future is heading to its more blues-infused roots. It's more vulnerable, because the opener has light acoustic notes while Future crunches darkly.
