Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE jointly appealed to the International Court of Justice against decisions of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) concerning claims filed by Qatar.

The Final decision on these issues will be made by the ICJ. Pending the decision of the ICJ, the ICAO procedures are suspended.
The four states have appointed agents to represent them before the ICJ. It is Sheikh Fawaz for Bahrain, Amgad Abdel Ghaffar for Egypt, Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Abohaimed for Saudi Arabia and Saeed Ali Yousef Alnowais for the United Arab Emirates
States reiterated their respect for ICAO. of air navigation within the framework of ICAO.
