Oppo F7 with FullHD 6.2 inch screen gets a price reduction Rs 3,000

NEW DELHI: The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched its flagship smartphone Oppo F7 early in the year. Launched at Rs 22,990, the smartphone received a price reduction of Rs 3,000 and is now available at Rs 19,990. Along with lower prices, Flipkart also offers offers on the smartphone.

The e-tailer offers an EMI offer from Rs 664 per month with an exchange offer up to Rs 12,200. Holders of a bank Buzz credit card Axis can get 5% off their Buzz credit card and Visa card users can enjoy 5% instant discount on the first three payments online.

The Oppo F7 comes in two variants: 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage and 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage. Both variants of the smartphone are now selling at Rs 19,990 and Rs 23,990 respectively after the price drop of Rs 3,000. The handset is available in the Solar Red and Moonlight Silver color options.

The Oppo F7 sports a Full HD + 6.33-inch goggle free with a resolution of 2280 × 1080 pixels and an image size of 19: 9. The screen is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glbad on top. The smartphone also consists of a notch similar to that of the iPhone X which incorporates the front camera, the earpiece and the proximity sensor.

The Oppo F7 is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor and runs on Android Android 8.1 Oreo operating system topped with the company's ColorOS 5.0 user interface. The smartphone has a 25MP selfie camera with AI Beauty Technology 2.0. The company claims that the front camera of the smartphone is able to recognize 296 facial features, which helps to capture a good selfie. The company also adds that the beautification database consists of 8 million solutions for different types of face so that users can get the best results possible.

The back of the smartphone houses a 16MP shooting game with LED flash and it is also equipped with AI-based scene recognition capabilities and a portrait mode. The device contains a 3400 mAh battery and offers 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options.
