Corning unveils Gorilla Glass DX, DX Plus for smartwatches

Corning Says the need for a new glbad technology in wearables comes after users have criticized the lack of readability to the sun with the current glbades set. Corning will improve readability by reducing glare by 75% of that of standard glbad.

In addition to launching the next generation of Gorilla Glbad 6 for smartphones, Corning has unveiled two other new products – the Gorilla Glbad DX and the DX Plus.

Developed as a successor to the Gorilla Glbad SR Plus, the new DX line will be used in smartwatches and fitness trackers and could also find its use on smartphones.

Corning says that the need for new glbad technology in clothing comes after users have criticized the lack of readability in the sun with the current set of glbades. The new Corning DX and DX Plus will improve readability by reducing glare by 75% of that of standard glbad.

The new line of glbades will also enhance the contrast of displays regardless of the brightness level. More contrast means more black screen that will lead to lower battery consumption, which will increase the battery life of a notebook.

Corning's DX and DX Plus are distinguished by one criterion and their scratch resistance. While regular DX glbad will offer the same resistance as a standard Gorilla glbad to scratches, the scratch resistance of the DX Plus will harmonize with that of the 'luxury cover' materials that, according to Corning, will be ' almost as good as sapphire crystal. 19659006]

The latest announcement of Corning means that the company sees potential in the development of glbades for different products.
