40 highly armed people reportedly captured at Alula Aba Nega Airport in Mekelle

A report from DW Amharic said today. Some 40 heavily armed men, including machine guns, are captured at Alula Abanega International Airport in Mekelle. They were dressed in the uniform of the Anti-Terrorist Force of the Ethiopian Federal Police

. The report quoting what he called the sources following the development (apparently Mekelle) added that the gunmen had used Antonov planes and would have left Sudan. But it is not clear how it is established that they took the plane from Sudan and the photos of these dressed in the Ethiopian anti-terrorist uniform are not yet available. or the mission to Addis Ababa is not clear at this point. According to DW Amharic, it was Addis Ababa, but they found themselves at Alula Abanega International Airport, where they would be besieged by special forces from the Tigray region
