Between the Fitness and Wellness Mill expo, road closures for the race day, shuttles to the start line, the post-race party and more, there are plenty of 39, information for Boilermakers.

Here's everything you need to know how to prepare for the weekend Boilermaker:

FITNESS MILL HEALTH AND WELLNESS EXPO
The Expo will take place from 12 am to 7 pm Friday, July 6th and from 8 am to 4:30 pm Saturday, July 7th. It is located inside the Jorgensen Athletic Center at the MVCC in Utica, and it also includes outdoor activities and vendors.

Runners will pick up their 5K and 15K race bibs inside the gym, then take their commemorative glbad and program booklet to the Jorgensen Center. There will be more than 100 suppliers at the Expo, as well as an area where attendees can purchase official Boilermaker equipment.

At the Expo, registration at the Utica National Kids Run, from 12h to 15h, also takes place. The race will take place from 8:15 to 10:00 Saturday at the MVCC.

TIME / LOCATION OF THE RACE
Sitrin Wheelchair 15K: 7:45 am on Culver Avenue near Beechgrove Place

5K: ] 7:15 am at Burrstone Road Bridge, near the faxton campus of Faxton-St. Luke & # 39; s Healthcare

15K: 8 pm on Culver Avenue near Beechgrove Place. Runners will gather near ECR International at 2201 Dwyer Ave. until the race starts.

SHUTTLES
Free shuttles will be available to bring 15K runners to the start line near ECR International, and buses will only run from 6am to 7am. Runners are encouraged to arrive early to use the shuttle. a service.

Shuttles will be located near the finish line at the corner of Court Street and State Street, and near the back of the post festival area on Whitesboro Street.

There is no shuttle to the 5K start line. Boilermaker officials recommend that 5km runners park at Donovan / Murnane Field near the 5km start.

Buses will also be available after the race to bring the 5K and 15K riders to the 5K and 15K start lines. The shuttles will be located on Whitesboro Street, behind the post-race party, and will continue until 1 pm.

ROAD CLOSURES
According to the state Department of Transportation, road closures and traffic light changes on the race will generally begin at 5:30 am and will end at 1 pm. The following national highways will be closed to traffic:

– 5S ramps to the east and west to Culver Avenue
– Ramps 5, 8 and 5 12 north and south to Burrstone Road
– Burrstone Road between Champlin Avenue and Genesee Street
– Champlin Avenue between Oriskany Street and Burrstone Road

GPS MONITORING FOR RIDERS
If you want to track a rider's progress throughout the 15K course, you can download the free RaceJoy mobile app and track up to 20 riders. Runners can only be tracked if they carry their phone while they run, but riders are reminded that the use of a helmet is always prohibited.

POST-RACE PARTY SARANAC
The post-race party will be held from 9 am to 12 pm, in the parking lot outside FX Matt Brewing Co., located at 811 Edward St. to Utica.

Haus Lager will again be the beer served at this year's post-race party, and it's free for party attendees. The entertainment will include music from the local showtime group, among others.

Foods will include ice lollies, fruits, cookies, yogurt and more.
