Leaked photos show Samsung's Android Go phone, but no Android stock

Samsung has been rumored to be working on an Android Go phone for a while, and today, pictures of the device – supposedly called the Galaxy J2 Core – were leaked by SamMobile . The photos also show that even though the phone is part of Google's stripped Android Go program, it still works with Samsung's own software. As SamMobile points out if you carefully read the Go Android site, it never promises that Go phones will be equipped with Android stock – just that they will be faster, smarter, the better. entry-level smartphones.

Skin or not, however, Samsung's phone is still a Go device, which means it will feature Go's thinner versions of Google apps. But the software is clearly that of Samsung, up to the icons and the navigation on the screen that seems borrowed directly from devices like the Galaxy S9.

There is no word on when Samsung will release its Android Go phone, in what regions it will be available, or how much it will cost. But with leaking images, we are probably not far from an official revelation in the near future.
