Stardew Valley is about to become more social, thanks to the multiplayer update coming out next month. To celebrate the multiplayer release on PC, Mac and Linux, the developer ConcernedApe has released a new trailer showing what players can do in Stardew Valley with friends.

While the beta for Stardew Valley multiplayer has been available for a few months now, the feature officially launches for all PC, Mac and Linux players on August 1st. To start a multiplayer farm, make sure you follow the steps in this guide.

the trailer, players will work together on one farm, while cooperating in everything there is to do in the game. This means you can take a team with you to the mines to protect you while you dig floor after floor. Or you can all follow a feast to celebrate with other city dwellers. It is even possible that two players get married, if you want.

We also have a preview of some new features and gameplay in the trailer. For example, a shot shows four players riding horses, and the horses have fun hats. Does this mean we can dress our horses now? J & # 39; hope. There is also a group of illuminated boats in the ocean, and a group of players chatting with a mermaid.

While the multiplayer update has a confirmed release date for PC, those with Stardew Valley copies will have to keep waiting. The good news is that a multiplayer update arrives on PS4, Xbox One and Switch "soon", according to the trailer. Unfortunately, it seems that multiplatform games will be limited to Steam and GOG in the foreseeable future due to technical limitations and platform restrictions.
