Sea of Thieves is already preparing to prepare for its second mbadive expansion after releasing the first DLC – The Deep Hungering – earlier this year.
Cursed Sails – although it does not have an appropriate release date – is expected to arrive at the end of the month (so, it's in the next two weeks).
The new DLC will deliver a new campaign (similar to what we saw in Hungering Deep) that will see you board skeletal ships. You can steal the skeletons of the cursed ammo and use them on other players or threats in the world.
Players will need to handle kraken, megaladon, skeleton ships and other players with cursed ammo if they want to progress
Before launch, later this month, Microsoft has launched a new trailer for the expansion.
The trailer description reads:
"Prepare your guns as Cursed Sails arrives, the second free update for the Sea of Rare Thieves. The dead go to war on the Outposts, so eat your bananas, load your weapons and get ready to fight skeletal ships in battle! "
You can watch the trailer below. Falling sails, the Rare developer plans to do more expansions for the game – with Forsaken Shores falling as early as September.
Announced at E3, Forsaken Shores will present the new area called Devil's Roar, which is a volcanic and dangerous place the players will have to vigate while avoiding earthquakes and eruptions.
This DLC will also introduce a rowing boat – this seems like a small thing to include, but it will make the job much easier, and it can also be used aggressively …
It also seems that Rare grants the Prioritize fishing as an activity you will be able to do while sailing at sea for this expansion – but this remains to be confirmed.
You can expect more news on the release date of Cursed Sails will soon be announced by Microsoft and Rare.
