AU's Special Envoy for Women, Peace and Security and the UN Under-Secretary-General will have bilateral meetings with the authorities in Juba. They will visit a site for the protection of civilians, a hospital that deals with victims of gender-based violence and community resilience programs, and hold meetings with women leaders, including members of the African Women Leaders Network (AWLN). , civil society groups, among others.

In Chad on July 5 and 6, the AU Special Envoy and UN Deputy Secretary General will hold bilateral meetings with the authorities of N'Djamena. They will visit a project site to meet communities that adapt to climate change and meet with religious groups, youth and women.

In Niger on 7 and 8 July, the joint UN and AU delegation will meet the authorities of Niamey. . They will also meet leaders of women's groups, AWLN members and visit a women's health center.
