We all know which is the most most exciting model of all

Apple
The new iPhones
to come, and
will also be the cheapest . The cost savings, however, were destined to come with a major compromise. But now this phone seems almost too good to be true …

In a fascinating new report, the famous Japanese website Macotakara revealed that the Apple iPhone 9 or "budget iPhone X "would use a radical display technology called" Full Active LCD ". This allows the budget model to have glbades even thinner than the second generation iPhone X ( details ) and new iPhone X Plus ( details ).

What allows this is a touch sensor manufactured by Japan Pixels, Apple's partner, which he calls "Japan Pixel Eyes". 9to5Mac notes that a Full Active LCD means that manufacturers can have glbades as thin as 0.5mm when the current iPhone X has a 1mm bezel. 9to5Mac also quotes the Wall Street Journal who wrote in September 2017 that Apple was using Japan Display to develop a Full Active LCD.

There is just a problem.

Macotakara states that serial production of Full Active LCD displays has a very high failure rate, which has had an impact on the production of the iPhone 9 in that it may delay the launch from September to November. A holdup that has already been leaked earlier this week . For my money though, a Full Active LCD iPhone 9 would be well worth waiting for.

Interestingly, Macotakara's report brings together the popular fugitives Ben Geskin (who successfully fled the iPhone X last year) and Ice Universe (who leaked the last three flagship Samsung Galaxy phones), 9 will be launched with larger bezels ( 1 2 ).

For its part, Macotakara has several scoops to his name, including that Apple would pull the headphone jack from the iPhone 7. Anyone must go wrong, and given 3D modeling showed an iPhone 9 with larger glbades [19659031] looks terrible – it is hoped that Macotakara will prevail

Anyway, 2019 is clearly the year where Apple is starting to take risks again (including with its premium models ) and it's great to see. Especially if the leaks of substantially reported prices have proven to be true …
