Y ouTube is a bottomless pit of memes and nonsense that you will have trouble going out if you are not careful. Many of us went in the early morning to find the best way to eat baked beans and stroke a cat without triggering a perpetual vendetta against you.
It is during such a "session" that I stumbled on Resident Evil 2 trailer directed by the late George A. Romero. Produced exclusively for the Japanese public, the trailer is a brief live-action affair that establishes Claire and Leon, as well as the zombies that plague Raccoon City.
In short, he does his job effectively with the process of producing it clearly leaving an impression on Romero with the zombie autograph even while writing a script for a feature film in 1998. His vision was certainly interesting; one would have to wonder how different it would be compared to Paul WS Anderson's effort in 2002.
As I continued to watch the trailer again and again, the URL Filigree on the bottom left was catching my eye. At first, I thought it would go to a dead link – the game itself is two decades old, after all. To my delight, www.biohazard2.com has turned out to be very much alive, if unfinished.
This is a simple installation that was probably impressive in 1998, or at least effective. . You will find everything you need immediately after clicking on the landing page.
Composed of completely flat HTML, clicking on one of the site's links will start an badet download with a similar looking demo for the game I decided not to install the program as it is only seven years older than me and could be a risky download.
The pictures were correct, though. Well, the few that have been downloaded. It seems that the one who created the site dropped the project with some missing sections hard to ignore. I am sure that they will move soon to download the making of a documentary and a character.
Since the site is so archaic, I do not know what to do. found no mention of marks or anything in its source, just a few simple lines of code. A WHOIS search has also appeared empty, although there is some indication that this could be an official Capcom site, probably for the press. The domain has been constantly renewed over the years and the "client" (that is, the person / entity who bought the domain from a vendor) is private. Capcom would not drop a field as juicy as biohazard2.com, and you could not imagine that they would not offer it to an opportunistic domain squatter.
I contacted Capcom and I did not hear anything. but they will not talk to me again after my review of the Umbrella Corps. With the remake of Resident Evil 2 scheduled for release early next year and expected to expire at about the same time, it may be time for Capcom to remake this relic.
