Two more games were added to Microsoft 's growing library of Xbox One: today both from the Ubisoft Splinter Cell franchise.
The first game is Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which released for the Xbox 360 in 2006 and was the first title in the series to launch for this generation of consoles. The second game is Splinter Cell: Blacklist, released in 2013, and is currently the latest installment of the franchise.
Both Xbox 360 titles are now available on Xbox One as long as players own the original discs. in the system or have it purchased in the digital market. If they are already digitally owned, the games will automatically appear in the My Games and Apps menu library to install.
Ubisoft has not done much with Splinter Cell since its sixth game, Blacklist, launched in 2013 until this year. The protagonist of the series, Sam Fisher, participated in a special crossover mission for another title of Ubisoft, Ghost Recon Wildlands, as part of a free add-on last April. Meanwhile, Splinter Cell: Conviction 2010 was recently featured as an Xbox Games With Gold title this month, allowing Xbox Live Gold members to download the game for free from July 16th to the 31st.
