Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sissi said Thursday night in a tweet that he was extremely happy to visit Sudan and described relations between the two countries as eternal

" My happiness is enormous with my visit to the brother [country] Sudan, the links between Egypt and Sudan are as eternal as the Nile, the vein of life and the fraternity between the two countries ", tweeted El- Yes Yes.

Sisi began a two-day visit Earlier Thursday, Sudan will discuss with Sudanese counterpart Omar Al-Bashir to discuss bilateral relations, the Egyptian MENA news agency

said. The two leaders will also discuss recent developments in the region and issues of mutual interest.

Al-Bashir went to Egypt for the last time in March, when he supported El-Sisi's candidacy for the presidential elections preceding the presidential vote, and promised cooperation increased after a year of tension between neighboring countries.

Two leaders Sudan recalled its ambbadador to Egypt in January without explanation, but allowed it to return two months later.

Leaders from Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia Discussions were held to resolve disputes over a disputed Addis Ababa mega-dam built on the Nile, which crosses the three countries. Cairo fears that the dam is threatening its water supply.

Sudan, which supports the Ethiopian project, said it also wanted to preserve Egyptian interests to receive its fair share of the Nile water.

El-Dardiri Mohamed Ahmed said that his country, along with Egypt and Ethiopia, was determined to end the stalemate of the talks on the dam project in Ethiopia following the Failure of previous negotiations.

"We are determined to overcome our differences over the issues at the Renaissance Dam on a tripartite level between Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia," Ahmed said at a conference attended by Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry.
