Balloon enthusiasts across Europe have today traveled with their balloons of all shapes and sizes for the annual Sky Safari at Longleat House in Wiltshire.

A massive ascent allowed a colorful display of droplets in the misty morning sky as the festivities started yesterday continued.

About 30 custom-shaped balloons are present at the festival, including characters from Disney's Up, a giant smiley emoji and various animals, many of which attend participants at exhibitions.

During the first two nights of the festival, one night is illuminated by the lighting of the balloons, lit by their engines.

As Longleat is home to various animals, including lions, elephants, tigers and many monkeys, the balloons are thrown in front of the historic house and are not allowed to fly over animal pens.

A spokesperson for the Sky Safari festival wrote: "Our guards will be on hand to monitor our animals throughout the event and make sure they are calm and happy. Balloons are located far from our animals and are not allowed to fly over animal pens. Last year, Sky Safari did not seem to bother any of our residents. & # 39;

Although visitors are not allowed to ride in the balloons, the show draws a large crowd from across the UK with tickets for sale for two nights of the three-day festival that ends tomorrow.
