Former WWE Star Al Snow is hailed as a hero… after the wrestling legend saved a child’s life Thursday by jumping into the ocean and pulling the boy against the tide.
The incredible act of bravery took place on Santa Rosa Beach in Destin, Florida. … When Snow – who rose to fame in the 1990s for wearing and talking to a mannequin head named “Head” during games – said he heard screaming and screaming while in the water.
Snow says as he looked around he saw a boy getting hit by the waves as he was being swept away by a strong current.

Snow, 58, said a lifeguard was on the beach… but added: “I knew she wouldn’t arrive in time” – so he took action.
“I did, thank goodness,” Snow said. “And, I grabbed him just by the arm just as a wave started pulling him even further. If I hadn’t grabbed him, I think he probably would have gone out to sea.”
“It would have been that.”
Snow, however, says the rescue mission almost turned into a disaster after he caught the child … Shad Gaspard, the wrestling star who tragically died in the Pacific Ocean in May 2020.
“I was able to stand up,” Snow said, “and hand it over to the lifeguard and I went back to my friend and we walked up to the beach and I felt like I was about to go. ‘collapse. I was exhausted. “
Snow said neither he nor the boy was hurt… and added that the child’s mother cried and thanked him several times afterwards.
And, in a light moment, after everyone is safe, Snow says a couple on the beach actually recognized him from his wrestling days !!
