The Fallout franchise will have this summer an official pen and paper role playing game. The developer Modiphius Entertainment says it will be an extension of the Fallout: War of the Desolate Lands set of figurines on table.

The extension, designed by James Sheahan, will bring new rules for character creation, adventures on uncultivated land, etc., said Modiphius. "Faction-based archetype cards" will help players who want to create unique characters. The Super Mutants, Raiders and the Brotherhood of Steel have all been verified in the ad.

The extension has not been named yet. It will be launched this summer with a stand-alone product available before Christmas. The expansion is designed for a Gamemaster referee up to six players (ages 14 and up). It will include three adventures, usable either in a related campaign or as a specific mission.

The version will also include codes for downloadable copies, including the PDF rule book, character, weapon and archetype cards and a game mat. The standalone SKU will include all the extra features. dice. More information is here.

Fallout: War of the Desolate Lands launched about a year ago. When previewed in 2017, we praised its "intelligent leveling system" and stated that "the game is also ripe for expansion."
