Fallout mod shot after artist allegedly posted “animated pedophile content”

We only wrote about the big news Fallout: New Vegas mod The border last week when it came out! And now we’re writing about it again, as the mod was “hidden” (basically temporarily removed) from Nexus Mods and taken from own website after allegations that one of his artists posted “animated pedophile content on his personal artist accounts”.

The full statement, posted on the mod’s page by the dev team, reads as follows:

Deeply disturbing news has emerged in recent hours. We were recently informed that one of our developers, ZuTheSkunk, has posted animated pedophile content on his personal artist accounts. The elements in question deeply disturb the whole team and we condemn them in the strongest sense. ZuTheSkunk has since been removed from the dev team and banned from our Discord community. We will engage with members of the development team to hear their thoughts on the current situation and help make our decision more informed. We have stopped production and are working on the mod to properly address current events. Further action will be taken and a more detailed address will be published shortly.

The views, thoughts and opinions expressed both within and outside of the mod belong only to the authors who write them, and not to the organization, community or any other group or individual of the mod.

ZuTheSkunk has a Deviantart account that is still active, which is mostly made up of My little Pony fan art, and which sometimes veers into sexual territory, although none of the magnitude alleged in the statement. There is, however, a now deleted account on the more art oriented NSFW site. Fur affinity called “ZuTheSkunk” which has been “deactivated by the owner”.

The mod is also unavailable on Steam, listed as just “coming soon”.
