Nintendo remakes Famicom Detective Club has been known for some time. Previously announced in 2019, Nintendo Direct on Wednesday confirmed The missing heir and The girl standing behind are released on May 14, bringing western locations for the first time.

In anticipation of this, Nintendo has just unveiled a new collector’s edition for Japan. Containing both games on a single cartridge, comes with a 174-page artbook, featuring the character and concept art from the remake. It also contains design documents of the original versions, which date back to 1988 and 1989.

Reprints of the original game’s promotional flyers are featured, along with a 75-song soundtrack, featuring tracks from the Famicom / NES version. There’s no word yet on a Western release for this Collector’s Edition, but we’ll keep you posted if that changes.
