Fan recreates emotional scene from Spider-Verse

A fan of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales decided to recreate the famous emotional scene that linked the young hero to millions of people in the game. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is quickly becoming one of the most consistently celebrated comic book movies. The fact that he managed to do this as an animated film focusing on the younger version of the hero only makes it more incredible. It goes without saying that the creative team probably feel like this sort of thing is the “ultimate” tribute to their work.

Earlier this summer, one of the film’s directors, Peter Ramsey, hosted a Q + A on Twitter. When a fan asked about the role the music played in the film, the filmmaker replied that Miles’ character really guided their selection process when it came to setting a tracklist. Check out his explanation below:

“Thank you! It was a group effort, all of us directors, producers and folk musicians,” Ramsey said. “We weighed in on the artists / songs we loved, all driven by the idea that we reflect life and the character of Miles through the music, we wanted it to make MILES feel like it was marking the movie. “

When people talk about Spider-Verse, one of the first things that pops up is Post Malone and Swae Lee’s “Sunflower”. Artist Rae Sremmurd spoke to Variety about the impact of the single and how they envisioned it last year. It is his only favorite achievement in his career so far.
