Another Open, another fan intrusion.

Less than three weeks after a fan invaded the 13th fairway at the US Open, an unruly spectator was kicked out of the Scottish Open on Friday after crushing the green and snatching a club from Rory McIlroy’s sack.

In a video captured by David Wilson, the fan can be seen casually walking over the No.10 T-shirt as McIlroy, Jon Rahm and McIlroy’s caddy Harry Diamond gathered near McIlroy’s bag before picking up the departure. The fan calmly reaches for the sack and grabs a club as the stunned trio perform a series of double takes.

After the intruder performed some practice, security intervened to escort him off the stage.

“Around 8 am Friday morning, a spectator entered the 10th starting area,” a European Tour spokesperson told ESPN. “He was promptly escorted off the tee by security personnel and the matter is now in the hands of Scottish Police.”

McIlroy got a 70 in the first round of the tournament and is currently six shots behind.
