The NBA Daily Fantasy is very dependent on opportunities, so you’ll need to make sure you’re up to date with key injuries. Our projections are updated until notification to reflect current news, we have player updates and the FanDuel Scout app will send push notifications for urgent updates regarding your players.
We’ll also come to you with this intro every day, breaking down some of the best games of the day at each position.

The only major injury status still watched by a starter is with Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon., who is improving with his continued hamstring injury, but remains a call for Saturday.
Guard point
Chris Paul ($ 7,900): Paul now has a two-game zero deficit to rally the Oklahoma City Thunder, so the veteran can take more on his shoulders as the best player in the OKC. His Thursday game was odd for the veteran as his 15 points and 2 assists were well below the playmaker’s bubble average of 16.85 points per game and 6.57 assists per game. And it’s against a Houston Rockets team which is second in the league in rhythm. Tackle a night off for Paul, which now costs less than $ 8,000.
DJ Augustin ($ 4,500): The point guard is particularly sterile for value picks, even seeing minutes, as Augustine is the only point guard averaging over 22 minutes per game under $ 5,000 on FanDuel. Orlando was strangled by Milwaukee on Thursday, so it was encouraging to see Augustine gain more playing time despite this, as he posted 27 minutes – despite posting a poor performance of 17.9 FanDuel points. Still, if you’re looking to save your paycheck at this location, Augustine is the safest bet to see meaningful time on the floor.

Shooting guard
CJ McCollum ($ 7,000): McCollum has been woefully inactive in the first two games of his series against the Los Angeles Lakers, but its price continues to drop, and its playing time is not. Even with the explosion of Game 2, McCollum is averaging 37.4 minutes per game, which makes that price feel too small for a player who averages 1.02 FanDuel points per minute during the regular season. Maybe Damian LillardMcCollum’s finger injury finally helps McCollum regain some traction, as he led the Portland Trail Blazers with 16 moves in game 2.
Dennis schroder ($ 5,300): In the same vein as McCollum, Schroder also significantly underperformed his time on court in the first two games of his series. He’s averaged 31.7 minutes despite breakouts in both games, but only translated that to 16.3 FanDuel points per game in the first two games against Houston. Schroder also led the Thunder in use rate at 27.2% in the regular season, so he has an incredibly firm role in the scoring hierarchy in a big game: Houston gave up the sixth-highest number. of FanDuel points to two opposing guards during the regular match. season.

Small before
Giannis Antetokounmpo ($ 11,300): It would be very difficult to leave Giannis out of the roster for now, as even with two blowouts leading to reduced minutes he still averages 1.73 FanDuel points per minute in his first two games against the Magic. Much of that is due to the rebound, as his 0.57 rebounds per minute are leading the NBA playoffs right now, and that’s with many elite crosses still playing in Orlando. Giannis is still within a 12.0 point gap today, but given that it was the case in the first two contests which ended more than 12 points apart, and he has always passed the value, this seems to be a non-concern for the Greek. Eric Gordon ($ 5,300): The Rockets leader in use without Russell Westbrook is actually Gordon, not superstar James Harden. Gordon’s 31.7% usage is slightly higher than Harden’s 29.7% usage, but Gordon plays without Harden more often than vice versa. Still, the price disparity between the two is huge given the equal load these two have shared so far. The hope is that with this usage Gordon can improve on his relatively mediocre 4.0-per-game passes and 35.6% shooting, making him a base value game on this slate.

Power Forward
Anthony Davis ($ 10,700): Trying to build around Giannis and Anthony Davis should be the staple strategy in gambling, especially with James Harden struggling due to Oklahoma City’s added defensive attention. Davis averaged 53.2 FanDuel points per game in the first two contests, which is remarkable considering what he has overcome to display those marks. Davis had an 8v24 shooting effort in Game 1 and only saw 29 minutes into a blowout in Game 2, which normally could have seriously inhibited his fantastic potential. If Davis gets his full minutes allowance closer to his season average of 50.3% shooting, the results could be monstrous. Portland just struggles to compete with Davis, as they made the most power forwards during the regular season: They gave the second-most FanDuel points to all four opponents.
Jeff Green ($ 5,000): Jeff Green is a new favorite toy for Mike D’Antoni and, as a result, sees many minutes as PJ Tucker’s backup “center”.. The reality is that the two are still conventional wings and can play together, which allowed Green to average 34.5 minutes per game in the first two playoff games against OKC. Green also sees time on the floor for Houston blowouts, which is helpful given the 14-point average winning margin in this series at this point. Green turned his heavy workload into 28.8 FanDuel points per game in the playoffs so far, which would be a great value here.

Center
Jusuf Nurkic ($ 7,400): Nurkic has been incredibly strong since returning to the NBA during inside-bubble play, averaging 1.35 FanDuel points per minute, who was only second to bubble MVP Damian Lillard (1.45) in his team. With an average of 43.67 FanDuel points per game, Nurkic has a prize that appears to be of huge value. The reality is that its production is incredibly volatile. He’s topped 55 FanDuel points in four games, but also hasn’t eclipsed 30 points in two games, including Thursday’s blowout. Nonetheless, if he sees his normal minute load, Nurkic can produce quickly, which is at least a lot on the upside in central position with a lot of volatility on Saturday.
