Questions and answers from subscribers
We received quite a few questions about the Winners Club subscriber lineup for this week’s newsletter. Here are the questions and answers presented:
Question from Richard: Who do I start in a semi-PPR league between Jakobi Meyers, Damien Williams, Laviska Shenault and Emmanuel Sanders?
Reply: I’ll get to this in more detail in my game of the day below, but go with Williams, especially in a half-PPR league. He has the ability to catch passes and gets a porous run defense from the Raiders. Plug it in with confidence.
Question from Jennifer: Jamison Crowder, Emmanuel Sanders, Brandin Cooks or Tyler Boyd?
Reply: Boyd is your best bet, even with Tee Higgins back in the lineup for the Bengals. As of Week 1, Boyd hasn’t scored less than 13 PPR points and that’s with just one touchdown during that span.
Question from Colin: No Joe Mixon. Should I start Samaje Perine, James Conner or Alex Collins?
Reply: Hope you haven’t started Collins Thursday night. The volume he saw was awesome, the production wasn’t there at all, however. With the option to play Mixon, I would go for Conner, who has two touchdowns in each of the last two games.

Game of the day
After the show he performed a week ago in relief, if Damien williams is able to do this over four quarters on Sunday, its DFS price will be the flight of the day. He’s cheaper than many underachieving or injured running backs and has a great game against Las Vegas. All he did last week against Detroit was make eight carries for 55 yards and one touchdown to go with two receptions for 15 yards. It was after David Montgomery left in the fourth quarter.
The Bears clearly trust him to put in so much work in such a short time. Williams was last seen playing meaningful snaps two years ago in the Super Bowl for the Chiefs in 2020 when he totaled 100 yards on the ground and added a rushing touchdown and receiving. If you were lucky enough to have it on waivers this week, you run it and you should do the same in DFS while its price is low.
Good luck today with your bets and matches, I’ll talk to you on Tuesday.
