Beginning of the week
Justin Jefferson vs. Panthers (1 p.m. ET, FOX): Jefferson has been on fire the past few weeks, and this week’s game against the Panthers isn’t as bad as it sounds on paper. While Carolina has allowed the eighth fewest fantastic points in the playoffs overall, home receivers average the ninth most points against them. In addition, the broad-lined home receivers scored the sixth-most points against the Panthers. Keep Jefferson in your lineups as player # 2.

Start them
Chase Claypool vs Ravens (Thursday 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC): Claypool’s game against the Ravens doesn’t look great on paper, but he’s become a virtual go-to player in the Steelers’ passing offense. He’s scored at least 13 fantasy points in four straight games and six of his last seven, including 13.2 points against the Ravens in Week 8. Their defense has also given up more than 14 fantasy points to eight receivers this season, so I think confident with Claypool in all lineups.
Robby Anderson at Vikings (1 p.m. ET, FOX): Anderson has fallen behind DJ Moore and Curtis Samuel in terms of point production the past few weeks, but I would keep the faith and pitch him against the Vikings. He still leads all outgoing Panthers with a target share of 26.5%, and Minnesota has allowed position 17 touchdowns and the fourth most fantastic points. Based on the opponent, you can argue to throw Moore, Anderson and Samuel’s three this week.
Brandin Cooks at Lions (Thursday 12:30 p.m. ET, CBS): Cooks continues to be a trusted source of points for fantasy managers, posting double-digit numbers in five of his last six games. He is expected to continue that trend on Thanksgiving Day, as the Cooks will face a Lions defense that has given the outgoing nearly 40 fantasy points per game. The Texans also lost Randall Cobb and Kenny Stills to injuries, so Cook will receive a healthy target share in what could be a shootout in Detroit.
DeVante Parker at Jets (1 pm ET, CBS): Parker’s numbers looked good last week in Denver, as he posted a touchdown and 18.1 fantasy points. I’d also keep him in the starting lineup this week, as Miami travels to the Big Apple to take on the Jets. Their defense was brutal against wide receivers, allowing an average of over 200 receiving yards and the sixth-highest number of fantastic points in position. Even with Tua Tagovailoa under center, Parker believes he is a flexible option this week.

Week 12 Sit ‘Em: Wide Receivers
Sit of the week
Tee Higgins vs Giants (1 p.m. ET, CBS): Higgins has been a tremendous asset to fantasy managers this season, but I’m afraid the loss of Joe Burrow may be the end of his consistent production. Ryan Finley looked bad during his time under center for the Bengals, throwing two touchdowns with three interceptions and a 55.5 passer rating in three games. So while this week’s game against the Giants isn’t bad on paper, Higgins is a pretty tough sell with Finley at the helm.
Sit them down
Marquise Brown at Steelers (Thursday 8:20 p.m. ET, NBC): Many fantasy fans had high hopes for Brown this season, but those hopes were dashed in what has been a disappointing passing game for the Ravens. He’s averaged less than five targets in his last four games, and the Titans held Brown without a single catch last week. He’ll be on a short week against a Steelers defense that limited him to just three receiving yards in Week 8. At this point, Brown is barely aligned.
Deebo Samuel at Rams (4:05 p.m. ET, FOX): There are questions about who will be active on the wide receiver for the Niners, as Samuel (hamstrings) and Brandon Aiyuk (COVID-19) are questionable at best this week. Either way, I would pass out their No.1 in a game against the Rams and CB Jalen Ramsey. The post has only found the end zone six times and has averaged just a whopping 29.3 points against Los Angeles this season. It is the third lowest in points in the league.
Corey Davis at Colts (1 p.m. ET, CBS): Davis has been quietly reliable for most fantasy managers this season, scoring double-digit points in all but one game. Still, his game against the Colts this week makes Davis a risk-reward proposition. Their defense only allowed out nine touchdowns and the seventh fewest fantastic points, and he kept Davis under 12 points in Week 10. Without a team on a bye this holiday week, it will be easier. to do away with Davis in most leagues.
Mike Williams at Bills (1 p.m. ET, CBS): Williams had a touchdown and over 17 fantasy points last week, but I wouldn’t chase the points against a much more formidable defense from the Bills. The wide receivers have scored just nine touchdowns against Buffalo this season, and the overall position averages the 10th fewer fantasy points. Williams, who is mostly dependent on touchdown from a fantastic point of view, should be considered a No.3 wide or flexible starter with a low cap this week.
