Fauci urged Americans to wear masks in crowded places, even if they are vaccinated and outside.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said deaths have tended to decline over the past three weeks, from a seven-day moving average of 1,767 per day on September 15 to 1,418 on October 7.
